Recently, I was chosen to receive the Clarins VoxBox from Influenster Canada. If you have not heard about it already, Influenster is a fun community to join for FREE and get a chance to receive product(s) for review. You could use my referral link if you want to receive free products as well. The Clarins VoxBox came with a travel size (15 ml) Hydra Essentiel Silky Cream. Usually, I have received full sized products from Influenster but this time it was different. This moisturizer claims to provide intense moisture and hydration, especially in places that experience sudden temperature changes.
Clarins is a plant-based skin care line. The Hydra Essentiel Silky Cream ($46.00) has a smooth gel-like texture and has a cooling effect on the skin. It also has anti-pollution complex to protect the skin from the environment. My skin concerns are usually dry patches and s some unevenness. I think this cream helped restore the moisture that was my skin needed. I used this every morning before applying my makeup. My makeup went on quite smooth. The scent is refreshing and subtle so it did not bother me.
After about a week, I ran out of the Hydra Essentiel Silky Cream. There was only 15 ml product in it which I think is a good size for someone trying it for the first time. You can definitely tell if it works for you or not. I did like the cream but I will put this on my list for the future especially when the crazy winters hit Calgary. But, I would recommend this to anyone with normal to dry skin looking for a good hydrating cream. Dermatologist-tested.
